Terms
The plain version.
What is free
- The one-worker calculator, for anybody, with no account. It saves nothing.
- In an account: setting up companies, bringing in the time and pay, the worker list and the flags. No card is asked for.
What is paid, and how
- $49 for one company's tax year: every worker's TT, TP and box 14b, the weekly worksheets, and the files.
- $199 for a bookkeeper's tax year: the same for every client company on the account for that tax year.
- Each is paid once, by card, through Stripe; JTS never sees your card number. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. A new tax year is a new payment.
- No refunds. Everything up to the numbers themselves is free to try first, and the one-worker calculator shows exactly how the arithmetic works before you pay anything.
What it is
- This tool does math on the numbers you give it. It is not legal, tax or accounting advice. Check results with your CPA, payroll provider or lawyer before you file anything.
- This doesn't file anything. Give these numbers to your payroll company or enter them in your W-2 software. Mistakes found after W-2s are filed are corrected with Form W-2c.
- The rules it follows are the IRS's 2026 W-2 instructions and published guidance on qualified overtime and tips, and the Labor Department's overtime regulations (29 CFR Part 778). It works out what those say from the numbers you give it; it cannot know what is not in them, such as whether a worker is really exempt.
- JTS keeps it running and keeps your records safe, but cannot promise it will never be down for a while. Download your files when you have your numbers: Settings exports everything at any time.
- JTS can close an account that is used to hurt somebody or for something unlawful.
